The Loki Knives 23VI Finnish Puukko comes with a 3.75" (7" overall) 80CRV2 (HRC 59) high carbon blades sourced from Lauri metals in Finland. Scandi grind with a small secondary bevel. Wood in the handles is a special type of birch called "visa". The white antler is from reindeer. Handles are burned onto the blade, then epoxied and finally riveted to the rat tail tang. Every handle is finished by hand. Sheaths are full grain cow hide, cut out of a full sheet of leather. Small belt straps that are lighter brown in color are reindeer leather. Each sheath is sewn by hand and formed wet with a piece of reindeer antler. There is a plastic protector in the sheath. Once the leather breaks in, it conforms really well to it. Light but functional, these make a perfect trail or pack knife.
